Spotlight Dance Center is located in Clarkston, Michigan and offers dance classes for ages 3 to adult. Classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop and lyrical are available, including special pre-school classes. Our professional level classes are taught in a friendly setting where students are encouraged to challenge themselves. Such challenges help students build confidence in their own skill level with rewarding improvements. Spotlight is a great opportunity for children to learn to dance, make friends and build self-esteem. Spotlight's certified instructors have thorough knowledge of the art of dance and enjoy the benefits of working with kids. Spotlight Dance Center's recitals are held in June at Clarkston High School.

All shows will be at Clarkston High School.

Classes are scheduled late afternoon into the evening Monday through Thursday. Morning classes are available on Saturdays.

Creative Movement

(September - May only)  Spotlight offers an 8-week Creative Movement class for 3 and 4 year olds who have never danced before. Children will be introduced to the structure of a dance class while learning some of the basics of ballet and enjoying creative movement skills.

Classes are held on Mondays 4:45-5:15pm in Studio C.
